Taking a hot bath at home during a busy day is the most relaxing time of day. As an indispensable product in the bathroom, the
shower room can keep warm in winter and soundproof and moisture-proof in summer, which plays an important role in the separation of dry and wet in the bathroom.
1. Waterproof
First and foremost, it is waterproof. The waterproof project of the toilet is one of the most important concealed projects. A waterproof shower is a top priority in the bathroom. The waterproof height of the shower is at least 1m8 high, just in case.
2. Glass partition
Glass is the core component of the shower room, so we must pay attention to the safety of the glass. Ordinary tempered glass without explosion-proof film will directly break when hit hard. The flange bath king adopts the tempered glass certified by the national 3C, which has super load-bearing and explosion-proof capabilities. The impact resistance and bending strength of tempered glass are 4-5 times that of ordinary glass.
3. Drainage
There are two methods of draining the shower. One is the more common tile laying. Most importantly, the entire tile should slope toward the floor drain. Generally, the plasterer who lays the tiles has experience.
Another situation you may have seen in hotel bathrooms. A stone was laid in the center of the shower room. There is a slit in the stone as a diversion channel. It sinks around for drainage, and the floor drain should be the lowest point.
Of course, this approach has limitations. First of all, the location of the floor drain must be put aside. If the sewage pipe of the house itself is not on one side, it needs to be replaced when the water and electricity are produced. If the location of the sewer is changed, if the plumber forgets to consider the installation depth of the floor drain, it is likely that the anti-odor floor drain will not be installed. The depth of the drain should be at least 6cm, preferably more than 12cm. After all, preventing odors is very important.
4. Water retaining belt
Water retaining belts can solve most overflow problems. Waterstops are very much needed to keep the ground dry to some extent.
There are generally two methods. One is self-masonry. This kind of water retaining belt is generally made of shower curtains, which is more picky and suitable for pastoral, Mediterranean and other styles.
Another option is to purchase finished water retaining strips outright, usually made of engineered stone or other materials. This is basically for glass shower partitions. When paving tiles, it is best to bury them in the middle of the tiles to keep the waterproof effect better. If glass glue is used to glue the tiles later, water seepage may occur after a long time.
